Your 2012 SERBC Champ- Lindsey Kiser

We are proud to share that our very own Lindsey Kiser was crowned SERBC Champ this past weekend in Atlanta.
She will get a place in the semi-final round of the US Barista Championship to be held in Portland, OR, in April. Lindsey also will spend a week in Costa Rica this summer visiting coffee farms as part of a group of barista champions courtesy of Cafe Imports.

Travis and Randy also served some amazing coffees this weekend and we all had a great time with our Southeast coffee family. Also our part-time barista and full-time friend from Counter Culture DC, Bryan Duggan, took home 3rd place in the Brewer’s Cup portion of the competition. Big thanks to Counter Culture Coffee and Trickling Springs Creamery for their continued support of our competitors and for having great products day-in and day-out all year long.

SERBC! This weekend!

SERBC stands for Southeast Regional Barista Competition and it is taking place this weekend. We have three competitors representing Peregrine–Lindsey Kiser, Travis Beckett and Randy Kindle. Last year Lindsey and Travis took fifth and seventh respectively and Randy is a two-time regional finalist himself.

Travis Beckett: 1:55 PM
Lindsey Kiser: 3:30 PM

Of the 28 in the first round, the top six advance to the finals on Saturday. We’ll be sure to keep you all updated of the results.
