Big Weekend Coming Up

Hello friends,

In case you didn’t know, Eastern Market is set to reopen this weekend.  There will be a ribbon-cutting with Mayor Fenty on Friday at 11 AM and a street party on Saturday from 10-6 with live music, outdoor food vendors and more.  For more on Eastern Market, check out this article in last Sunday’s Post and here is a link to the flyer for the party on Saturday.

We’re going to be setting up an iced coffee/iced tea station on our patio on Saturday to service the crowds and will have extra staff on hand for all those coming to check out the reopening.

I, for one, am very excited about the new market and I hope you all come out to support the vendors both indoors and out.
